GH2005.26 Crazy For You

"Doc, I don't know how this can be? This dress is already tight on me! Does it look tight? I haven't been pregnant that long; I wasn't this big when I had Serena. You don't think I look fat do you? Oh my gosh! I'm getting huge! Then again it could be worse, I could be carrrying my pregnancy like Kathy's carrying hers. Yeah, it could get much worse. Doc, will you still love me when I'm fat and my feet are swollen and I'm eating every bite like it's my last and I can't get out of bed without your help? You'll still love me when I'm as big as a house; won't you?"

Kevin looks dizzy as he looks at her then shakes his head in amazement. "Of course I'll still love you, Luce. Do you really think I wouldn't?"
Lucy: "Well...no, I mean of course you love me for who I am and all....I
love you, Doc."
Kevin: "I love you too. Now, shall we stand here outside the Quartermaine's or shall we go in and congratulate Robin and Jason?"
Lucy: "Well let's go in of course, you big silly! I'm so happy for Robin about the whole HIV thing and all....it's a miracle actually, I guess miracles do really happen...Oh doc, she really deserves all this. So many friends have been lost already. Remember Jon Hanley? It's so sad, because Jon deseved this chance too."
Kevin: "People don't always get what they deserve. I think some of it has to be left to fate."
Lucy: "I know...I just wish Jon and Stone and all the others were here to see this. So I really truly honestly don't look fat yet?"
Kevin: "You're beautiful."

"Tell me again, why are we here?" Nikolas asks Katherine as they walk through the foyer of the Quartermaine house.
Katherine: "Robin has always been really special to me. When I first got together with Mac all those years ago she gave me the chance that nobody else would."
Nikolas: "Well, now you're a respected woman all over the world, Katherine. It doesn't matter who's willing to give you a chance or who isn't...speaking of which, I think there may be trouble coming..."

Lucy and Kevin approach Nikolas and Katherine.
Lucy: "Well, well if it isn't my good friend Kathy. You know, you date younger and younger men all the time, why is that? Could it be because you pay them to sleep with you?"
Kevin: "Lucy be civil; this is an engagement party."
Lucy: "I'm being civil; who isn't being civil?"
Katherine: "I don't know, Lucy, why don't you take one of those big fat pieces of cake over there and stuff your face with it so nobody will have to hear your whining?"
Lucy: "Well for your information, I'm pregnant. That's right, carrying the child of the man I love. Can you say that? All you did was sleep with the nephew of your ex. This whole disgusting affair and your pregnancy's probably just your little Katherine Bell way of getting back at Stefan Cassadine for dumping you for Laura, who's twice the woman you could ever be....."
Kevin: "Lucy!!!"
Nikolas: "Um should I be taking offense to this or is this a private thing between you and the woman who's carrying my child?"
Lucy: "No, it's nothing against you, Nikolas; you're a nice boy, but my words, Katherine's poison."
Nikolas: "Well, Lucy, I'm also a big boy and can take care of myself."
Kevin: "Thank you, Nikolas! You took the words right out of my mouth."
Katherine: "Lucy, are you gaining a little weight there? You look a little...how shall I put this..chubby to me...."
Lucy: "Oooh I will get you little miss Katherine dumb-Bell just see if I don't...."
Kevin: "Lucy, remember your karma...this negative psychic energy is bad for the baby..."
Lucy: "Ohmygosh I forgot....okay Luce, deep breaths in and out, in and out, in and out....okay, all clear now!"
Katherine: "You know Lucy-- you're such an idiot."
Lucy: "Ooh....I'm going to wring your scrawny little neck and pull that bleached blonde hair out by the roots...."
Katherine: "Remember the time at the Nurses Ball that you ended up hanging by your garters above the chorus line?"
Kevin: "Okay, enough! Lucy, come on let's go....." Kevin leads Lucy away from the pair.
Katherine: "You know I really despise that woman....."
Nikolas: "Shhh let's not let her ruin our evening...."
Katherine: "You're right...let's make our appearance then get out of here."

Jason comes up behind Robin and kisses her. "Having a good time?"
Robin: "Yeah, it's great that all our family and friends can manage to come together for us."
Evan and Emily come up to them and Emily hugs Robin while Evan shakes Jason's hand.
Emily: "I'm so happy for the two of you."
Robin: "Thank you, Emily...so, tell me about it?"
Evan: "Tell you about what?"
Robin: "Your road trip of course! Where did you go?"
Emily: "Evan took me to Disney World and on a tour of Florida."
Robin: "Well sounds fun. I've never been to Disney World."
Jason: "Excuse us...there's Ned. I'd like to go speak to him. Robin, care to join me?"
Robin: "Of course...I'll see you two later."
Evan: "Nice talking to you, Robin."
Evan turns to Emily and kisses her as they walk away. "You happy, baby?
Emily pulls him closer, "Very."
They kiss for a few moments before Emily pulls away reluctantly.
Emily: "This is a public place and people are going to be wondering about the two of us."
Evan: "You're right...wonder what my father thinks of this?"
Emily: "And my parents, I think since the incident with Matt in Lucky's club they've been concerned about me."
Evan: "Well don't worry, who cares what anyone else thinks?"
Emily: "Not me, that's for sure."
Evan: "I'm falling so hard for you, Emily Quartermaine."
Emily: "Care to dance?"
Evan leads Emily onto the patio where a few couples are dancing and pulls her close

Alexis and Tom join Stefan, Laura, Monica, and Alan for champagne on the sofa.
Monica: "I still can't believe it about Amy."
Alan pats her hand. "Nobody can. She was such a part of GH for so many years. I still walk past the nurses' station looking for her."
Laura's eyes fill with tears as Stefan holds her. "It's not fair; she shouldn't have died like that. She was so young and had so much ahead of her."
Alexis: "Laura, life isn't fair sometimes. All you can do is roll with it, because if you don't, you go crazy."
Tom: "Good advice, Alexis. Amy wouldn't want us to be sad, she'd want us to be happy for Robin and Jason. It's really a miracle about the HIV."
Stefan: "Of course, Alan and I will do everything possible to bring this cure to General Hospital and push it through the FDA."
Alan: "We have to make this available to more people. So many have died from this disease; we can't allow any more."
Laura: "That's for sure...so this will become part of the AIDS wing program?"
Tom: "Hopefully when we get this medication, there'll be no more need for the AIDS wing."
Stefan: "What in the world will we do with the space?"
Laura: "What a problem to have! We'll find something, I'm sure."
Alan: "I'm just so thankful Robin had this opportunity. She's been to hell and back with this disease, now she deserves to be happy. She's so good for Jason."
Monica: "I'm glad he has her. When he's with her, I think he'll be okay, no matter what business he gets himself into. Robin is an angel."
Ned comes up to the group. "Alan, can I have a few minutes of your time?"
Alan: "Sure. How about in the foyer?"
Ned nods to the group acknowledging them. "Let's go."
Alan and Ned walk to the foyer.
Alan: "What's going on, Ned? I have the feeling you didn't want to discuss this in front of Monica."
Ned: "Have you seen A.J tonight?"
Alan: "No, thank God. His behavior doesn't need to be showcased before the entire town. Gina's here with Lucky Spencer though. "
Ned: "Yeah, and they're looking pretty friendly too. They've spent the entire evening on the patio avoiding the crowd."
Alan: "Ned, if there's one thing I've learned, it's A.J's life and he's going to screw it up as he pleases. It's none of my business."
Ned: "If it reflects badly on this family and ELQ, it ought to be."
Alan: "Leave it alone, Ned. That's why you left, remember? If A.J wants to drink he can damned well do it as far as I'm concerned. I feel badly for Gina though."
Ned: "Gina will be fine."
Alan: "It's about time to toast the couple, which is what this evening is about."

Lucky and Gina sit on a bench in the Quartermaine rose garden away from the crowd.
Gina: "Thank you for coming here with me. I hated the idea of coming here but didn't want to miss Robin and Jason's engagement party."
Lucky: "No problem, babe. I'm here for you."
Gina: "Yeah, so I've noticed...Lucky, about what happened between us the other night..."
Lucky: "That was a friend comforting a friend. It doesn't have to be any more complicated then it was."
Gina: "Thank you for understanding, and for being there, and for a wonderful night."
Lucky: "It's my pleasure. So are we going to sit here or go toast the happy couple?"
Gina: "Yeah, sure let's go in."
Alan gathers the crowd around. "I'd like to propose a toast. To Jason and my friend Robin, the two of you haven't had it easy, but now you'll have the happiness that you deserve always. I hope the you are as happy in thirty years as Monica and I are today. And thanks to the HIV cure, that is a definite possibility. To life, hope, and happiness-- you deserve it."

Robin goes to hug Alan as everyone raises their glasses.
Robin: "Thank you Alan. For everything. For doing your best by Stone all those years ago, and for doing the same for me. I couldn't have done it without your help. "
Jason shakes his father's hand. "Thanks for helping Robin."

Mac gets in front of the crowd. "To my niece, Robin, I watched you grow up and I saw you watch the man you loved die from the same disease that you had. I was there as your heart broke then as you moved on, falling in love again. You rose above all the bad things. And now you're cured, and you deserve it more then anyone else I know. Robin, I am so proud of you today; it's unbelievable. And I am so grateful to Jason for making you happy."
Robin: "I can't tell you how much it means to me that you're all here today. But I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the love of a lot of people. I'd like to toast to Stone, Sonny, Luke and my parents, because without them I wouldn't be here. I know wherever they are; they're celebrating with us."

Everyone raises their glasses, and begin to disperse to what they were doing before. Lois notices Brenda nearly in tears and goes to hug her.

Lois: "You thinkin' about Sonny?"
Brenda: "Yeah, it's times like this I miss him the most. We lost so much time together that we can never get back. Oh Lo, I wish he was here with us. "
Lois: "So do I Brend, so do I. "

Robin and Jason step out on the patio to dance. Jason: "This was nice, it really was."
Robin: "I know it...even though we miss the people who aren't with us; we have so much to live for, and now we can."
Jason: "I love you, Robin. Dance with me."

Jason and Robin dance to Madonna's "Crazy For You"

"Swayin' on as the music starts,
Strangers makin the most of the dark,
Two by two their bodies become one.
I see you through the smoky air,
Can't you feel the weight of my stare?
You're so close but still a world away,
What I'm dyin' to say,

Is that I'm crazy for you,
Touch me once and you'll know it's true.
I never wanted anyone like this,
It's all brand new.
You'll feel it in my kiss,
I'm crazy for you.
Crazy for you...."
