GH2005.24 Everybody Have Fun Tonight
Emily pulls up to a gas station and looks over at Evan with concern. He had quite a nightmare a few miles back, but appeared to be quietly sleeping now. Looking over the map, Em sighs in relief. "Hello Tampa, Florida."
Evan stirs slightly then opens his eyes quickly. He looks at Emily and for a split second, he nearly calls her Michelle. He regains his composure and
flashes a smile."Hello beautiful, how long did I sleep?"
Emily laughs as she stretches."A couple of hours. We're in Tampa now."
Evan looks around and laughs."No, actually we're in Brandon, but close enough to Tampa not to really matter anyway. You did good getting us here."
Emily laughs."All I did was stay on the road. So, wanna make yourself useful and fill the car up with gas? I'll let you take over driving now."
Evan salutes her."Yes ma'am. Be right back, babe; gotta make a quick phone call too." Evan leaves the car and pays the attendant to pump the gas. He goes to the payphone and dials the familiar number."Mom? Yeah, it's me. No, I'm fine; look-- I'm in town. Well, no actually we're in Brandon. I brought Emily with me. You'll love her, Mom; she's really sweet. No, Dad isn't with me. Yeah, I just need to pick up a few things, then I'm going to show Emily the sights. No, I have a room in Indian Shores. OK see you then. Mom, I love you."
He hangs up the phone and heads back to the car. Once inside he flashes Emily another smile."Ready for an adventure?"
Emily laughs as they drive off."You're too much. Are we going to meet your mother now?"
Evan nods."She's making us a huge lunch. Then you and I are off to the beach."
Emily sighs."You don't know how wonderful that sounds."
Evan turns on the radio and begins to sing."Life is a highway.."
Carly's Apartment
Lucky knocks on Carly's apartment door. He waits for a few seconds and then sees Carly appear looking exhausted. Lucky follows her in."Cousin, you look like hell."
Carly turns to him."Bite me, Lucky. I've had a horrible day. AR is finally with his father."
Lucky looks around the apartment. It's evident AR had a little too much sugar before trashing the place. He smiles at her."When's the last time you just relaxed?"
Carly thinks for a minute."I've no idea. Lucky, I'm loosing it here, man."
Lucky points to her bedroom."Get in the shower, turn it up nice and hot, and relax. Put on some comfortable clothes. I'm taking you out of here for awhile."
Carly smiles at him then frowns."I can't; I have to be at work in half hour."
Lucky shakes his head."No, you don't. I'll handle it. Now go."
Carly walks into the bedroom and Lucky picks up the phone. "Aunt Bobbie? Yeah, I need a favor, no not money. Actually I was wondering if you could find someone to cover Carly today? Yeah, no kidding? I thought so. Okay, thanks-- you're the best."
Lucky hangs up the phone and begins picking up toys. By the time Carly
emerges from the bedroom, the living room is straightened. She laughs as she watches Lucky load a dish into the dishwasher. Carly reaches over and hugs him tightly."You're the best but an unlikely fairy godmother."
Lucky laughs and kisses the top of her head."I'll personally kick your butt if you pull another week of double shifts."
Carly pulls away and begins to cry."I was supposed to be working when Amy fell."
Lucky pulls her to him again soothing her."So to make up for it you try and kill yourself by working all her shifts? Carly, it's not your fault, babe. AR was sick and it was an accident. You need to get out of here for awhile. It's time for fun, Spencer style."
Carly wipes her eyes."Oh no, that sounds a little scary."
Lucky laughs."Stick with me, babe; I'll show you the time of your life." He ushers her out of the apartment.
Wyndemere
Nikolas is on his way to Katherine's when he passes Lu's room. He can hear her crying and immediately knocks on the door."Lu? It's Nikolas."
Lulu calls out to him."I'll be right there." She quickly dries her eyes and opens the door to find her brother looking very concerned.
Nikolas walks into he room."Lu, what's the matter? Why were you crying?" Lu, her cover blown, begins to cry again. Nikolas sits on the bed and pulls her onto his lap. He rocks her gently trying to soothe her."Shhh, it's okay, Princess."
Finally Lu just rests her head on her brother's shoulder and speaks."Why did she have to die Nikky? Everyone I love always dies."
Nikolas hugs her tightly."Oh Princess, it was a horrible accident. I know you've lost a lot of people you care about, but you still have us."
Lu begins to cry again."I'm scared, Nikky. I had a dream about you and Daddy and Mommy and Lucky all dying."
Nikolas sighs. He remembers Stefan telling him about Lu's nightmares on the plane to visit Laura after Ruby died. "We're all fine, Lu. All of us are okay."
Nikolas is interrupted when his phone rings."Cassadine. Lucky, I think Lulu would like to talk to you. Something like that. What? I don't know, Lucky. No, I'm not scared of losing; I can beat you. No, she's with her mother. Fine. Lu and I against you and Carly? Loosing male on the team springs for lunch. Fine-- I'll meet you there."
Nikolas hangs up the phone and smiles at Lulu."How would you like to help me make Lucky eat his ego?"
Lulu giggles."You're so geeky sometimes."
Nikolas throws her on the bed and begins to tickle her."Geeky? You'll pay for that, Lesley Lu Spencer."
Lulu begs through her giggles for him to stop and he finally relents. "How can I help you?"
Nikolas smiles."Our brother has challenged us to a game of miniature golf against him and Carly. If we win, he has to pay for all of our lunches. If they win, then I'm stuck with the bill."
Lulu smiles."Okay, but should we? I mean-- aren't we supposed to be mourning Aunt Amy?"
Nikolas hugs her."We can't live our lives consumed with grief. You taught me that Angel. Now let's go make Lucky eat his words."
Stefan watches Nikolas and Lulu bound out of Wyndemere and smiles. Laura comes up behind him and wraps her arms around him."They seem so happy."
Stefan turns to her and takes her into his arms."Lulu has been having nightmares again. Lucky and Nikolas are taking her and Carly out for a little fun to ease the situation. How are you?"
Laura smiles."Better. I miss her, Stefan. I know we weren't sisters by blood, but she was my sister. I can't believe she's gone."
Stefan hugs her tightly."I know, Lasha. I'm so sorry for your pain. I wish I could take it away."
Laura kisses him gently on the lips."You can't though, but you do ease it little. You're my strength, Stefan. You help me to hold it together in the worst of times. I love you."
Stefan kisses her back passionately and then picks her up heading towards the bedroom."I love you too, Lasha."
Once inside he gently lays her on the bed. She begins to unbutton his shirt eagerly. He strokes her hair gently with his hand and feels her slip the shirt off his shoulders. She kisses him on his chest as he unbuttons her blouse. She pulls him to her and they kiss deeply. She whispers to him."Make love to me, Stefan."
Indian Shores
Emily gazes at the ocean from the balcony of their suite. Lunch with Evan's mother had been nice except she seemed surprised to see her at first. Emily jumps when she feels a strong pair of arms wrap around her body.
Evan laughs."Easy baby, it's just me. Beautiful here isn't it?"
Emily turns and faces him."I love it. The room is great."
Evan tilts her chin up towards him and kisses her gently. "Wait till you try the Jacuzzi."
Emily wraps her arms around him and kisses him deeply. Their mouths explore each other. Evan lifts her up onto the balcony and kisses her neck and cheek as he unbuttons her blouse. Emily caresses his hair as she feels him begins to kiss her chest. He lifts her off of the balcony and carries her into the suite. He gently places her on the bed and then fills the Jacuzzi. While he is working on the Jacuzzi, Emily turns on some music and pulls him to her. They dance as the water rises. She becomes lost in his eyes. Soon they are kissing passionately as the hot water swirls around them. Emily wraps her legs around Evan and pulls him to her. Evan kisses her shoulders and then looks into her welcoming eyes."You're so beautiful, Emily." Emily hushes him with a kiss.
At the Outback
Lulu and Carly are celebrating while Lucky and Nikolas look a little embarrassed.
Lucky:"I can't believe you let them pair up as a team."
Nikolas shoots him a glare."I didn't hear you protesting. What were your words..oh yeah easy money."
Carly laughs."Oh quit whining you two are only splitting the bill now rather than one of you taking the full amount."
Lulu laughs." I still can't believe you hit the ball into the water, Lucky. How is your nose?"
Lucky glares at her."It's broken, Lu. You know that."
Nikolas looks at Lucky apologetically."You know I swing left handed. Are you sure you're okay?"
Lucky nods."I'm fine, but remind me to wear a helmet next time I play with you."
