GH2005.23 To True Love
Garcia knocks on the door of the brownstone and smiles when Felicia opens the door. "Hi Felicia, is Mac around?"
Felicia waves him in. "Hey, come right in, Mac's in the living room."
They walk into the living room as Mac gets up to greet Garcia "Hey Alex, you sounded concerned on the phone. What's on your mind?"
Alex paces."Mac, I need my favorite sounding board. There's just something not quite right about the Vining ahem accident."
Mac: "Well mate, you know my ear's always available. What's going on?"
Garcia looks apprehensive "Don't you find this whole thing a little odd? I mean a respected nurse at General Hospital takes a shower, next thing you know she's slipped on a bar of soap and hit her head at the precise angle it takes to immediately kill her."
Mac shakes his head. "Well, I don't think it's wise to jump to any immediate conclusions...."
Felicia : "Alex, sit down I'll make us all some tea. Would you like some cookies? "
Garcia wincing in memory:"Thanks Felicia,you know what they say about a hot cuppa tea but I'll pass on the cookies."
Felicia goes in the kitchen and begins making tea as Mac and Garcia seat themselves on the couch. "Mac, I'm at a total loss here. Tell me, if you were in my place, what would you do?"
Mac :"Look, Alex, trust your instincts. They've done pretty well for you in the past. If you think foul play is involved, I'd lay money that it is. Launch an investigation. Ask questions . . . I mean I don't personally know of any enemies Amy Vining had but you never know . . . "
Alex looks up at him hopefully."You wanna do a walkthrough of the hospital, check out the crime scene for old times sake?"
Mac laughs."Sure, why the hell not. And I'll do a little background work, totally unofficial, maybe see if there's anyone with a decent motive, just keep my eyes and ears open."
Alex smiles gratefully."I'd really appreciate, Mac."
Felicia comes in carrying a tray and sets it on the table. "So have you heard the good news?"
Garcia :"I'm sure in the mood for some good news . . . shoot."
Mac beams. "Robin is cured. The HIV's gone for good."
Garcia's eyes widen in surprise. "Mac, Felicia, that's wonderful! When? How?"
Mac :"Well it seems that she took some non FDA approved cure in Venezuela without telling us or Jason because she didn't want to get our hopes up. But it worked, and she's HIV free, thank God."
Felicia: "And that's not even the end of it. Robin and Jason are getting
married."
Garcia grimaces. "She gets a second chance at life and she immediately marries Jason Morgan? That's a shame."
Mac: "Well, I can't say I'm thrilled about his choice of professions but he loves Robin, and he makes her happy. That's all I can really ask for."
Garcia: "Well I hope Robin gets everything she's ever wanted. If anyone deserves it, she does. Please give her my best. I should get going; I'm due back at the hospital in twenty minutes. Mac, thanks for the ear and the advice. I'll be in touch."
Felicia: "Nice seeing you again."
Garcia: "You too, Felicia. I can see myself out."
Garcia leaves the brownstone and as soon as Felicia hears the door shut behind him she starts in on Mac. "What were the two of you chatting so intently about when I was making the tea?"
Mac laughs at her."Has anyone ever told you you're way too nosy?"
Felicia laughs back."Yeah, but I'm a private investigator, that's my job. You don't think Amy's accident was so accidental; do you?"
Mac shakes his head."No comment. I will tell you to keep your eyes open though."

Stefan walks down the staircase and wearily walks into the study where Nikolas, Lucky, and Alexis are all sitting looking concerned.
Lucky: "How's Mom doing? Why did you leave her up there alone?"
Stefan: "Relax, Lucky, Lasha is asleep"
Alexis :"I'll go upstairs and sit with her."
Nikolas "Thank you Alexis. I know Mother will appreciate it."
Alexis goes upstairs and Nikolas remarks. "How in the hell did this happen anyway? I hate that this happened to Amy. She has always been so good to me, even when I was just volunteering. She loved the hospital and everyone associated with it. GH has lost one of it's most valuable assets."
Lucky: "Man, it's just tripped out how one minute she's here and the next she's dead. You never can really know, when you say goodbye to someone, that it could be for good. I guess it's fate or something,but it was just so damned sudden."
Nikolas looks puzzled. "How exactly does one go about hitting their head on a shower wall?"
Stefan :"Amy apparently slipped on a bar of soap. It is strange though."
Lucky "You know, this all seems like one of those things you hear about that never actually happens. It's so damn cliche."
Stefan: "Well we have to make the arrangements. Lasha wants to make a trip to Canada to bury Amy with her parents. I plan to make the trip with her."
Nikolas intercedes. "Of course the entire family will be present at the burial. Amy's family."
Stefan nods. "I'll make the arrangements. The funeral will be held in the next few days."
Bensonhurst
Jason and Robin walk into the Cerullo kitchen where Lois is making breakfast and Ned is sitting reading the newspaper as he sips his coffee.
Lois: "Did you all sleep well?"
Jason and Robin exchange a naughty glance. Robin:"We slept just fine."
Jason:"Mike should be arriving here soon. I sent the jet for him last night"
Robin smiles happily."I can't wait to tell him the good news."
Ned:"So when are you two going to get married?"
Robin "We want to do it as soon as possible, but we also want to do it right. We've waited so long, I just want everything perfect."
Lois hugs her. "Then we have a lot of planning to do. Where's Brenda anyway?"
Brenda walks into the kitchen. "Did I hear Brenda?"
Robin laughs. "Brenda's a late riser."
Brenda :"Well yeah, but we have to plan this thing. I say we hold the engagement party tomorrow in Port Charles. What do you think?"
Lois nods."I think that's a great idea. Most of your friends and family are there."
Jason agrees. "I don't want anything too big. Just close friends and family."
Robin: "I agree, but that's one long list these days."
Lois throws her hands up. "Well the more the merrier, right?"
There's a knock at the door and Ned goes to let Mike in. Mike hugs Robin and shakes Jason hand. He says his hellos to everyone and then turns to Robin and Jason. "So what's this news you all want to tell me? It must be pretty big to fly me in."
Jason and Robin exchange a glance.
Robin smiles at him. "Mike, it's great news. I'm HIV free. I took a cure in Venezuela and it worked. I'm going to live."
Mike picks Robin up and hugs her. "You mean it's over? It's really all over? Oh Robin... Congratulations! Nobody deserves it more then you do."
Robin looks sad for a moment. "Stone deserved this gift that has been given to me too."
Mike :"You're living for the both of you, sweetheart. I know wherever Stone is he's even happier then I am at this moment."
Robin's eyes fill with tears "I know it. Oh Mike, Jason and I are getting married!"
Mike "Jason's finally becoming a civilized married man? Wow, goes to show what the love of a good woman can do. Sonny would be so proud of you both right now."
Jason "You better believe it. She's much too good for me. I know he would, Mike. Man, I miss him."
Robin goes to kiss Jason. "Oh stop it honey; you know that's not true. I really miss him too. But I know he's with Stone and my parents and Luke. They are probably celebrating as much as we are."
Ned :"Well, I hope you both have as happy a marriage as my Lois and me. She makes me complete and I am happier every day I'm with her."
Lois reaches over and takes his hand "You better stay that way, buster."
Brenda looks at them all. "Awww you're going to make me cry. I love this, everyone's so happy."
Lois hugs Brenda. "I love you too, girlfriend."
Brenda :"Love you too, Lo. I'm going to finish getting dressed."
Brenda leaves the kitchen.
Mike: "So any ideas on where you're going to honeymoon?"
Robin and Jason say in unison. "Montauk."
Robin: "Where we spent out first weekend together."
