On The Path of Saving

Starting at 4:34. (Estimated--my computer froze. :( )
The patient's name beside the dark thick door was "Eva Monroe". And that was what the nurses called her in their soothing Russian tones. She responded as if Eva was her name even after the drugs left her system. It was her mother's name and hearing it gave her a small slice of happiness. In fact, after the water splashed on her face and the faucet stopped running---she smiled. She looked at the foggy mirror and smiled.
She wrapped herself in a terry cloth robe and left her steamy Shangri La. The firm hospital bed was not as comfortable as she would have liked, but it beat being six feet under. What bothered her was that dark door. It disturbed an otherwise ivory setting. Thoughts of colors left her mind as that thick door opened to reveal three men. Only one man was important to her. The other two were merely there for their protection. The man that mattered shot them an icy glare and the men left the room and stood guard. Now it was just the two of them in the room. His crisp suit matched the door and now the setting seemed to make sense.
He handed her a manila envelope and managed to sit as far away as he could. . She opened it and two large black and white photos fell into her hands. One was of a hispanic teenager wearing the latest fashions dancing with her Unc--no her father! "How can he be alive? How can she?"
The man rose and took the photo from her to reveal the second picture. It was of a black male the same age as the girl in the first photo in a foreign studio surrounded by records. "They are alive for the same reasons we are alive Ms. Faison. Your father planted a mission in that beautiful mind of yours and had you forget it once it was over. He knew you were unstable after my son left you and it was so easy push you. Cesar was always fascinated by my mother's invention--among other things--and needed some test subjects. He succeeded with Luis and granted his wish to be reunited with Sage in Venezuela. Her friend's family was oblivious to him being gone in the first place." The patient stared in disbelief. "Obviously, Luis doesn't know the means in which his daughter was able to reunite with him. Or why exactly his DNA was needed right before you died." He moved closer to her and lost himself in her hair. "I do wish you would have killed Nikolas so he could have been resurrected here. Emily too. I could've had lots of fun with her..."
She left the bed in disgust. "I was so close to relying on you again and falling for you like I did when I was little. But I realize that I would be just like my dear mother---falling for yet another rapist!"
Stavros grabbed a trembling Mary and forced her to look at him. Despite herself, tears flowed and he brushed them away. "I'm sorry for what my low cousin, your late husband, did to my common daughter-in-law, and for what your father did to your mother. But Connor didn't hurt you and I never hurt your mother. You and Eva tamed the beasts within us." Mary looked away but turned to face him as he placed a silver dress in her hands. "Now get dressed. We're leaving."
Mary stared into his less icy eyes, trying stay calm. "Wh-why? Why now?"
Stavros looked into her chocolate eyes, trying to look expressionless. "Because Faison has your mother."
